We are seeking an experienced editor and manager to serve as Editor for PakWheels content department.  This is an ideal position for a person with a passion for automobiles, news and media industry and understands how great and engaging content can be a significant marketing tool.

We want a great team player who will join us in our mission to revolutionize automobile buying, selling and maintenance experience in Pakistan.

Job Description

• Manage a growing staff of about a dozen writers and freelancers in day-to-day site operations, including assigning, commissioning, editing, and publishing engaging stories
• Create and manage content pipeline with the intention to provide engaging, useful and informative content to consumers and drive traffic to our platform
• Establish relationships with auto enthusiasts and drive content contributions from our community
• Work with content team on day to day basis to ensure articles are well-edited and on time and
• Work with other marketing teams and use modern day social media platforms to extend our content reach to masses
• Experiment with new form of content formats like video, live broadcast, podcasts, snaps, etc. to increase content reach.

Job Requirements:

• Have at least four years of experience in news/publication industry
• Experience of managing team of writers, freelancers, journalists, etc.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to produce content of international standards
• Must be prompt, responsible and able to meet deadlines
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and an ambitious manager and writer
• Must be tech savvy and have good knowledge of different social media platforms
• Good knowledge of automobiles will be a strong plus
